Stimulite Paediatric Contoured Cushion - Features and Benefits

The adductors, abductors and an ischial dish comfortably position the child, while the soft honeycomb cells hold him or her securely in place. When sitting on the cushion, the compressed cells radiate outwards to surround and support the anatomy, self-adjusting to each individual while providing excellent stability. A unique ventilation system made up of tiny perforations in the cell walls allows air to circulate both horizontally and vertically, creating an ideal microclimate for long-term sitting comfort.

Cushion:

• Prevents pressure sores with pressure relief, reduced shearing and ventilation to control heat and moisture for total pressure management

• Unique growth feature allows the back of the cushion to be folded up to shorten the cushion

• Cushion can be adapted as the child grows (instructions included but the effectiveness of this feature does vary)

• Weighs 0.45-0.9kgs / 1-2lbs

• Hand / machine washable and dryer safe

• Laundry bag included

• Standard polyester cover made from Cordura Fabric

• Durable, breathable and lightweight

About Stimulite:

• Made from a soft, flexible medical grade material that is fusion bonded and has the appearance of honeycomb cells

• Consists of alternating thick and thin walled cells which flex when compressed to relieve pressure and stimulate capillary action, bringing more blood to the tissue for healthier skin

• Each honeycomb cell is perforated allowing air to flow both vertically and horizontally, keeping the body temperature from rising and preventing humidity

• Naturally antibacterial, antifungal and allergen free
